Returning to South East Asia

In less than twenty one days I’ll be heading back to South East Asia for six weeks of travelling mainly through Thailand (where the military have declared a coup) and Cambodia before ending up in Australia to start a years working holiday. As the departure date gets closer it seems harder and harder to concentrate on anything, including everything I need to organise for packing the next year or two of my life up into a backpack.

Looking back at the last two years of my life since coming back from our last ‘mini round the world trip’ has made me realise how little I’ve done in that time, and how much I need to work on just enjoying the present. One of the main positives I can take away from a lot of seemingly wasted time is a new found drive to experience and accomplish as much as I can in life.

I’m lucky enough to have the next six weeks in Thailand to relax, enjoy myself and try survive a country under curfew amid a military coup.
